Upgrading

Run these commands from your existing 1xbts repository. Pull the latest code first, then rebuild and restart the Docker services for your platform.

Linux

Terminal window
git pull origin main
docker compose up -d --build

macOS

Terminal window
git pull origin main
docker compose -f docker-compose.yml -f docker-compose.macos.yml up -d --build

The --build flag rebuilds the service images with the updated source before Compose starts the containers.

Config migrations

Some releases change the config files. Each such change is listed in the # HEAD section of the CHANGELOG with a Migration: line saying exactly what to edit in config/*.json. Read that section after pulling and apply any migration that touches a file you have customized before restarting the services.

The shipped config/*.json templates are updated with each change. Your local overrides (config/*.local.json) are not, so that is where a migration usually needs to be applied.
